Member Service Representative (PT) - Call Center (Telecommuting available) Serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union. Provide account information by phone or in person, as well as information on the full range of credit union products and services. Assist members with all types of consumer loans, processing, closing and disbursal, making referrals on mortgage loans, consulting and opening various types of deposit accounts, and become proficient in all eServices (On-Line Banking, Mobile App, Bill Pay, Debit and Credit Cards, etc.) to assist members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Educate members on all deposit account services and assist them with opening accounts, providing the appropriate disclosures, and orientating the member(s) to the credit union. • Assist members will all types of consumer loans. Process applications, approve or deny requests and complete the necessary paperwork to close and disburse loans. • Assist members with all types of transaction requests such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, wires, payroll, cash advances, gift card sales, etc. • Participate in community and branch events that will promote the credit union, crosssell products. • Respond to in-person, telephone, email, or other electronic requests for service in a professional and timely manner. • Respond to member’s requests, problems, and complaints, resolving issues, and/or directing them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance. May handle more complex questions and problems for other Member Service Representative. • Maintain a high knowledge level on all credit union products and services in order to educate and assist members in all areas of branch operations. Complete required training for the position. • Follow all policies and procedures, rules and regulations including robbery procedures. • Research accounts for deposit, withdrawal, loan-payment discrepancies, and assist members in balancing their accounts. • Responsibility for compliance, as applicable, with the Bank Secrecy Act, including addressing, in a timely manner, any transaction requiring or warranting action. • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
